The property was built in 1920, restored in 1974 and in constant renovation since 2002. The country estate is around 50 hectares and it is located in a neighbourhood in La Viña de Gor, Las Viñas, a place that has always been enjoying the magnificent vineyards spread all along the territory, cherished and appreciated by all the neighbours, with one of the best wines of the North Granada area. Currently the environment around the estate “El Alamillo” is, most of them, almond trees of different types, and some vines that persist in their attempt to survive in the world of viticulture thanks to many new plantations and new wine cellars which are settled in the region in order to highlight the name the wine of this land had in its time. The country state is located in one side of “Sierra de Gor”, with views towards the mountains of Sierra Nevada, with geographical availability suited for the XXI century; with direct access to highway A-92 in around 400 meters.

The estate is very close to two main cities of the region like Baza roughly 25 Km, Guadix is located 20 Km distance, and only 10 Km to one of the biggest Industrial areas (building in progress) of Andalucía, located in the exit of Hernán Valle. This includes a renowned company as Mercadona, where is set up a logistic plant with more than 1000 workers and other companies of high prestige, betting on the development of the region. Granada and its mountains are close to enjoy snowsports and outdoor activities only 75 Km far- Motril and Almería beaches are only one hour away, thanks to the A-92 highway. Thanks to the latest one all destinations in Spain are easy to go to.

We find ourselves in an area where nature can be sensed in every moment, surrounded by lots of vegetation, in the huge poplar grove located in the rambla that descends “Sierra de Gor” and goes through the whole estate. Its fields have always been farmed thanks to their superior quality, especially considering they are rainfed lands.
In the location where the estate is settled we can find two service areas, equipped with hotels, restaurants, one supermarket and other services, which have access from the inside of the estate through the different roads already arranged, as the highway goes inside of it.
At last, but not least, two big comfortable country houses, built in stone structure. One of the attributes of these huge walls is the thermal insulation levels they are able to reach, which are kept both in winter as in summer. The landscapes and its quietness are remarkable, making you feel deep in Nature.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ESTATE AND ITS CROPS
VINEYARDS
Nowadays there are 2,5 farmed hectares, arranged in espalier and preset in wire for drip irrigation. It is currently in production and their different types are of great quality like Tempranillo and Syrah. Year after year, we achieve exquisite quality in our grapes and in wine elaboration.

ALMOND TREES
There are 40 Hectares of almond trees in production of Guara variety, with the approved resolution by the “Junta de Andalucía” in the rights of basic payment entitlements.

FRUIT TREES
11 Hectares of fields where there is a peach tree plantation, Catherine and Carson types (one of them is a late variety, the other one is an early variety), in natural espalier by a planting pattern (3.5m x 3.5m). There is also another plantation of pear trees, Ercolini type in espalier with wood posts and galvanized steel wire structure. Both the plantations have drip irrigation and fertilisation, all of it set in a shed with irrigation head and fertiliser deposits.

WAREHOUSE AND MACHINERY
✾ Construction of a 200 square metres warehouse to store farming machinery.
It comes with a project for an extension of it of 1000 square metres.
✾ The country state comes with a irrigation pool, roughly 6.5 million litres, extracted by a two water well pump, part of the property.

As a private museum with a wine cellar with 26 jars, most of them from the XIX century. The wine cellar is still in use, for private use, thanks to the taste impregnated by the old clay in the wine.
